out in droves to shop, mingle, eat great food and
listen to live music. |

Designed to spur our economic development in
Gentilly, The Gentilly Fest Marketplace
showcases the buying power of our local community and
replicates the success of Gentilly Fest 2008
held last October 11th at Pontchartrain Park
Playground. That daylong celebration portrayed our
community’s rich and resilient culture, music, food,
and art. Nearly 8,000 people attended the inaugural
festivities, and the Fest raised $20,000 for police
and fire stations in the Gentilly area. |

Held on the first Friday of every month in the
cooler evening hours, Gentilly Fest Marketplace offers fresh produce, packaged food, fine arts and
crafts, cuisine from area restaurants, and live
music. The Gentilly Fest Marketplace is free to the
public so be sure to come by and check out all the
great products and wonderful food. |

We believe our summer marketplace is also a
great opportunity for you to expand your business,
giving you access to thousands of area residents
yearning for shopping opportunities in Gentilly. |

The monthly fee for a produce, packaged food, or
arts/crafts booth is only $35.00; restaurant fees are
$50.00. All fees are payable one month in advance.
Your fees pay for a 10’ by 10’
space, security, and liability insurance. We also
offer credit services to customers. |
